How to move twelve thousand pounds with your bare hands.

One stick of wood at a time.

I had to buy firewood this year for the first time in several years. Two cords makes a big pile. It also weighs about twelve thousand pounds. Yet, one piece at a time, I moved it. I moved it and stacked it and it actually looks good.

Now you know how to do big jobs. You do as much as you can and finish and then do some more.

Studying the Bible is the biggest job but you do it the same way. Now you know so go on and start. You’ve got a lot of wood to move.

EDIT: For clarity, let me add that a cord is defined by law as being equal to 128 cubic feet of wood or a stack 4’X4’X8′ long.
